- 1.Use this in addition to — not instead of — a standard incident report.
- 2.Document the subject's behavior immediately before each action taken, in order.
- 3.Record every verbal command and every de-escalation attempt made before contact.
- 4.Photograph any injuries with consent where possible, and record medical offers and refusals.
- 5.Route to ownership and your insurer the same day, and preserve all video before it overwrites.
