Board Presentation Toolkit

Getting a security contract past an HOA or condo board usually fails for the same three reasons: the ask isn't tied to a specific incident pattern, the budget isn't broken down per door or per square foot, and nobody defines how the board will measure whether the money worked.

This toolkit gives board members and the residents who present to them a repeatable structure: how to win the vote, how to justify the line item against reserves and special assessments, and how to hold a vendor accountable once the contract is signed.

None of this is legal advice. Bylaws, CC&Rs, and California's Davis-Stirling Common Interest Development Act (Civil Code Sections 4000-6150) control what a given association can actually do; confirm specifics with association counsel before acting on anything here.
