- The officer calls 911 first, from a safe distance. California private security officers do not detain, chase, search or physically confront trespassers, and ours do not. What they do is give dispatch and responding officers something usable in real time: how many people, what they are wearing, what they are carrying, vehicle make and plate, and direction of travel. Everything observed goes into a written report with photos the same night — that is the document that supports a police follow-up, a trespass letter, or your claim.

- Should we just buy cameras instead of paying for patrol?
- Cameras tell you what happened, assuming they were not the first thing stolen or spray-painted. They do not call 911, they do not notice that a fence panel was lifted and set back, and they do not check whether a trailer lock was swapped.
